NORD-Workshop “Precision Oncology”

To further strengthen the cooperation between the University Cancer Centers Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg, we are organizing NORD (= Northern Oncology Research and Development) workshops on selected key topics, to which researchers from UKSH and UKE are welcome in order to expand or start collaborations and plan joint funding proposals.

The workshop is intended for researchers (from PhD student to Professor) focused on precision oncology.

We are happy to announce that Prof. Philipp Altrock (Kiel), Prof. Nikolas von Bubnoff (Lübeck) and Prof. Frank Ückert (Hamburg) have confirmed for keynotes for each of the three sessions.

For active participation with a short presentation or a poster please send a graphical abstract to science.uccsh@uksh.de until
Submission Deadline: May 15th, 2025
Submit your Graphical Abstract as a Power Point file AND a PDF file.

This abstract makes your field of research and your offer/request visible on point and opens the discussion with all other participants to evolve new ideas, projects, grant proposals. Workgroups are encouraged to present a condensed overview of their research and connected projects, rather than presenting every single project in detail. Presentations should not take more than 10 min.

As the number of available seats is limited, we will notify you by the end of June if your registration was successful and whether you’ll be giving a talk or presenting a poster. (We do not have a waiting list.)

We are very much looking forward to further develop and flourish this exciting research field together.
